Project Manager

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful management, execution and completion of projects, according to the scope approved by the client.
  • Establish, schedule and track project milestones and deliverables for each project.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, under budget and assist the Technicians in maximizing efficiency.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and clients in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Develop production schedules, as needed, for each phase of the project.
  • Work with 3rd party stakeholders (Builders, Electricians, etc.) to sync project status and ensure accurate project milestones.
  • Work closely with Technicians to ensure that each job has been completed correctly and each step of the process has been documented.
  • Define project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
  • Conduct post-mortem project quality checks to ensure consistency in installation procedures and validate project completion
  • Schedule tasks and coordinate with various team members to accomplish the results.
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
  • As often as necessary, communicate current progress and additional requirements to all project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate project hand-off meetings with Sales Consultant and Designer; attending site reviews as necessary.
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
  • Liaise with clients and contractors on an ongoing basis.

Core Competencies

  • Proven proficiency at using Project Management software (Experience with Trello is preferred but, not required).
  • Project Management Certification desired (PMP, PMI-SP, PMI-ACP, CAPM, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in skilled trade
  • Must have history of continuing education
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop and implement complex, multi-device solutions
  • Comfortable with confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
  • Detail oriented and high quality of work required to insure customer satisfaction
  • High energy and highly self motivated with a commitment to high quality work
  • Reliable and on-time performance
  • Able to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • Familiarity with computers and data entry

Residential / Commercial Sales Consultant

The Loop Technologies, LLC is seeking skilled, energetic, highly motivated individuals with proven success in consultative outside sales / business development to expand our Commercial and Residential market share.

The “Smart Home” market is growing at a rapid pace and so is the need for “Smart Solutions” within the home and business. If you love technology and have experience in AV and Home Electronics, we’d love to hear from you!

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of expanding sales in an existing territory and have a minimum of 5 years experience with commissioned sales.

Our Sales Consultant will be supported by a team of designers, engineers and technicians, enabling them to establish profitable relationships with new, productive accounts. Duties will include acquiring new business by prospecting (via telephone calls, door-to-door, emails, letters, social media and networking), leveraging relationships with key industry partners, gaining referrals, capitalizing on upgrade opportunities, and participating in sales and marketing initiatives.

Position Requirements
  • Must have basic experience in Audio, Video and Home Electronics
  • At least 3 years in luxury retail and/or contract project sales or related experience
  • General knowledge of consumer electronics or related custom installation industries
  • Proven relationship building skills to discerning high-end clients and/or B2B
  • Proven success within a client based, non-corporate sales environment
  • Ability to listen and effectively communicate complex client requirements
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills (oral and written)
  • Effective professional sales preparation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time and priority management skills
  • Strong ability to work independently while adhering to structured processes and procedures for administrative functions
  • Positive mental attitude, strong work ethic and “hunter” mentality
  • High personal integrity in work and social interactions
  • Valid driver’s license required
Compensation

This base plus commission position offers stability and competitive pay with a potential for long term growth.  Benefits include paid holidays, paid time off, continuing education reimbursement, retirement and supplemental health benefits.

Audio Video Programmer

Core Competencies
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and programming multi-zone audio, video, automation, lighting, network and security systems (Control4 system experience is preferred)
  • Experience with residential networks including how to setup whole-house wired and wireless networks, streaming content, trouble-shooting networked components, etc.
  • Proficient in low voltage systems including audio/video wiring and principles, video displays, proper cable routing, termination, and troubleshooting
  • Fundamental understanding of line voltage and its usage in low voltage systems
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop and implement complex, multi-device solutions
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to high quality work
  • Comfortable with working independently and within a team
  • Must have experience servicing and troubleshooting new and legacy equipment. 
  • Must be able to read a wiring diagram, blueprint and schematics 
  • Must have history of continuing education

Responsibilities
  • Complete programming, configuration, documentation, and validation of all IP products
  • Create and maintain all records and programming associated with client-specific project data
  • D-Tools proficiency to create, edit, and update System Designs as needed
  • Document any project-specific programming to insure consistent and efficient processes
  • Label all configured devices with appropriate configuration settings, according to The Loop standards
  • Notify Project Manager of any assignments not completed as scheduled
  • Respond to field technical issues as needed
  • Manage day to day programming and field support issues as needed
  • Review the following week’s schedule and verify availability of product and verify applicable programming time is in calendar, notify Project Manager of any discrepancies
  • Provide feedback to Project Manager and GM on inefficiencies and recommend potential solutions

Audio Video Technician

  • Install and program projectors, televisions, amplifiers, and control equipment
  • Troubleshoot existing infrastructures to determine root cause of communication/reliability issues
  • Other responsibilities that may be required within the day-to-day business environment
