Senior Audio Video Technician

Core Competencies

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in audio/video or related field
  • Proficient in low voltage systems including audio/video wiring and principles, video displays, proper cable routing, termination, and troubleshooting
  • Fundamental understanding of line voltage and its usage in low voltage systems
  • Must have history of continuing education
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop and implement complex, multi-device solutions
  • Comfortable with confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces
  • Detail oriented and high quality of work required to insure customer satisfaction
  • High energy and highly self motivated with a commitment to high quality work
  • Reliable and on-time performance
  • Able to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • Familiarity with computers and data entry

Responsibilities

  • Install wire, components, and cabling in both new and existing construction
  • Meet with clients to discuss job scope and system usability
  • Program universal remotes, alarm systems, and control systems
  • Install and configure projectors, televisions, amplifiers, and control equipment
  • Troubleshoot existing infrastructures to determine root cause of communication/reliability issues
  • Other responsibilities that may be required within the day-to-day business environment

Customer/Office Administrator

Our company is currently looking for an experienced Customer/Office Administrator. This position will play an integral role in the customer service and organizational strength of our company. This individual will provide administrative support, greet and direct visitors and answer and respond to calls and emails. Qualified candidates will have impeccable verbal and written communication skills, a strong ability to multi-task and a friendly demeanor. The Customer/Office Administrator is responsible for organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency. The Customer/Office Administrator reports to the Owner of the Company.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft® Suite and Quickbooks, including spreadsheet creation.
  • Proficient knowledge of office administration.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information.

Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with all audio/video products we sell to properly support back end databases, including update of item pricing, descriptions, part numbers, etc.
  • Electronic ordering and purchase order management.
  • Customer relations including billing review, customer support and incoming call routing.
  • Scanning and filing of various office documents.
  • Review field-captured multimedia and disseminate to marketing as needed.
  • Management of office supplies and workroom consumables.
  • Support the Company Owner with administrative duties as requested.

Shading and Lighting Designer

Are you ready to partner with a company that is the local industry leader in home automation and control in Boise?  Would you like to be part of a team, including a full team of installers and programmers, who is dedicated to delivering the best customer experience possible?  If so, The Loop Audio Video is currently seeking a Shading and Lighting Designer to partner with our Company for the Treasure Valley.  This new team member will focus on the design, specification, and sales of controlling the lighting within homes and businesses, while having full authority to create solutions for the client.  This team member must understand lighting design and the significance of a well- designed solution.  The Loop will provide training on lighting systems, our shading products and what makes them unique, and integrating both for a premium end user experience.  Software tools will also be available to insure success.

Requirements

  • Strong background in selling window coverings, including shading specification, material selection and quoting
  • Experience serving high end residential clients and small commercial offices
  • Strong drive for success and growth
  • Ability to work independently and without daily supervision
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Professional appearance and strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Familiar with long sales cycles and monitoring a sales funnel
  • Experience in relational selling

Position Overview

  • A1099 contract position to allow the designer full control of their income
  • Commission only, but will include education reimbursement for training
  • Territory is limited to the Treasure Valley, but ultimately determined by the individual; Sun Valley, McCall, and Twin Falls are available
